Our Hygiene Department
Our hygiene department offers dental cleanings and exams utilizing digital radiographs which expose patients to less radiation and enhance our diagnostic capabilities. We also use laser decay detecting technology to ensure a thorough dental evaluation. We offer pit and fissure sealants that provide the extra protection that some children need during their cavity prone years. Our patients can be sure to understand their treatment plans as they are presented with our state-of-the-art chair side Dentrix computer system and patient questions can be answered with the aid of our intra oral camera.

Cosmetic Dentistry
Ceramic Crowns and Veneers
This patient (shown above) presented with a missing left lateral incisor which caused her upper front teeth to be shifted to the left. This problem was made worse by her excessive crowding. Her needs were met by placing five beautiful IPS e.max lithium disilicate crowns.
These large stained composite fillings and crooked teeth had this patient feeling dissatisfied with his smile. Once again, strong and beautiful Emax layered pressed crowns provided the beautiful and natural smile he always wanted.
This patient was unhappy with his stained composite fillings and his uneven smile. EMax crowns were placed on the front 6 teeth resulting in a beautiful smile!
This patient presented with her right and left canine teeth in the position of her missing lateral incisors. Severe crowding also detracted from her smile. We were able to improve her smile with beautiful IPS e.max lithium disilicate crowns.
Severely worn teeth
As a result of severe tooth grinding, this patient's teeth were so badly worn that he had almost exposed the dental pulp (dental nerve). In addition to stabilizing his remaining tooth structure, we needed to greatly improve the cosmetic aspect of his smile.
Restored with porcelain and zirconia crowns

We were able to achieve the desired beautiful smile and the strength required to withstand the heavy forces of a tooth grinder with porcelain fused to zirconia crowns. The porcelain gives the beauty to the front of the crowns and the zirconia gives the back of the crown (the wear surface) the resistance to fracture required in a heavy tooth grinder.
Gummy Smile
This patient had a gummy smile and short worn teeth. Step 1 involved gum surgery by our good friend Dr. Randy Valentine to lengthen the teeth and reduce the amount of visible gum tissue. In step 2 we restored her teeth with beautiful emax layered pressed crowns for a significant improvement in her smile.

Bleaching
This patient was unhappy with his "yellow teeth". His treatment included "in office" Zoom bleaching and replacement of his old composite restorations.

Doctor Volpe also offers quick and painless endodontic treatment (root canals) using the SciCan rotary endodontic system with Nickel Titanium files.
Nitrous oxide is a safe and effective sedative agent that is mixed with oxygen and inhaled through a small mask that fits over your nose to help you relax. Nitrous oxide, sometimes called “laughing gas,” is offered at an additional cost to help make you more comfortable during certain procedures.
